Evaluation Question 4)
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Here you can find a slide show of how my media product represents particular social groups. In this slide show i have given clear details of my choices of my magazine and why I created my magazine the way I did;
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Firstly, in our beginning stages of creating our magazine we had to create a blog on bloggers.com to hold all of our work. This was new to me and i am now able to use bloggers.com easily and quickly and it is a good and reliable piece of technology for any work that needs to be regularly checked and updated.
During our researching stage for our magazine i had to use a piece of technology called survey monkey. This i had never heard before and i now know how to use it quickly and efficiently. This survey was of a lot of use for my product as i then knew what i was aiming at for the final product and to aim at my target audience.
I then continued and was introduced to some technology called prezi presentation, which is a presentation which is set out to keep the read interested. I now use prezi presentation regularly for any presentations i create. This helps me show any research in a visual and more interesting way.
I have also used the technology go animate several times within the creation of my media product, this is a fun and more entertaining way of showing information and research. At first i found this slightly difficult and odd to create for my work but i then began to like it and i now use it more often and understand it well.
Finally, my largest gain on use of technology is my use of the software Photoshop, i now have a well developed knowledge of this software and feel a lot more confident creating piece of work on here. Although at the start there was some struggle i am now happy with the final outcomes.
Evaluation Question 5)
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
For this evaluation Question I used a website called Powtoon, which is an animation. I have only just discovered this website and used it as another technology within my answers for the evaluation questions;
Evaluation Question 6)
What have you learnt about technologies in the process of constructing this product?
Within creating my music magazine i have learnt how to use many new soft wares and developed my ability on others i had previously used. For example, I had previously used photoshop but not to the ability i am able to use it now. This is clearly shown through the difference between my preliminary task and my final construction.Firstly, in our beginning stages of creating our magazine we had to create a blog on bloggers.com to hold all of our work.
